Biographical Overview
A native Texan, Trevor was born and raised in Abilene in a conservative Christian home. After graduating from Abilene Christian University with a BS in Psychology, he worked for several years in the business world before attending law school. Trevor received his Juris Doctorate from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law (now Texas A&M). Upon passing the bar, he opened his practice in the Houston area while his wife, Courtney, completed her residency in Pediatrics.
In 2012 the Roses moved to Tyler, where he re-established his firm focusing on indigent criminal defense. Shortly after that, Trevor was appointed Assistant County Attorney in Cherokee County. There he gained considerable experience in misdemeanor prosecution, civil law, juvenile law, and family law.
During that time, the Roses became parents. So, to accommodate their growing family, Trevor re-opened his practice in Tyler, where he gained further experience in criminal and family law.
Since 2019 he has served our community as a Felony Assistant District Attorney in the 241st and 7th District Courts in Smith County.
Trevor has been involved in prosecuting over 4,000 criminal cases in Smith County and Cherokee Counties, managing over 3,500 misdemeanor cases from intake to trial, and presenting more than 525 cases to the Smith County Grand Jury.
